Family Meeting January 2007

With Cees and Elise returning to Holland on the Saturday we took the opportunity on the 28th of December to take them to the tropical KAWAU ISLAND. At the kind invitation of Barry and Tricia Everard we joined them at their holiday home, The Beach House, for lunch, wine, great company and (at last) sunshine.

Barry, Tricia and John enjoy some after lunch snacks. When Barry owned 89FM in Auckland , John managed the station and took it to No. 1 in the competitive Auckland market.

Piha-Boxing Day 07

With our guests Cees and Elise we went to visit son Sean and his lovely partner Vivian at their Piha Beach bach; joining us were The Heathcotes. Unfortunately our camera did a funk and we only achieved one photo for the outing.From the top Sean and Vivian's son GEORGE; BEN, ANDY, JAMIE and a visitor from an adjoining property.

It was a beautiful day in a wonderful setting.

The highlight of our Christmas day 2007 was an "opening the gifts" lunch at Greg and Leigh's Herne Bay home. (above; our hosts)

Over the Christmas period we welcomed our dear friends from Holland, Elise and Cees Weesels. (above; Elise with our Granddaughter Andy)

Cees is the founder and CEO of Roadrunner Records; a company that has had huge success of late with the 7 million selling CD from NICKELBACK. Lately Cees has extended his business into TV production, mainly animation aimed at the children's market. (above;Greg and Cees solve the world's TV problems)

In town for the event were The Senior Tebbs (Ken and Sylv) and JT's daughter Jacqui and husband Jeff Tebbs
